The problem of a breadboard is that they are light so if you have some coax , psu lines and probes connected I most times end up witth the breadboard dropping from the table and hanging to some cables.
I added a display and made a levelshifter so I can use it for the TI launchpad and the Arduino.
The Voltmeter is mounted before, I use this to with tube based experiments. I then remove the arduino/launchpad and made some adapters with tube sockets like you see two on the left (but those have switches and potentiometers. I have anti-slip under the plank so it is very stable.
